What you’ll need to do next

Once you’ve submitted a bereavement notification, you’ll need to: 

  1. Complete this Bereavement Requirement Form as soon as possible.
  2. Send us the settlement documents – you can post these to us or upload the documents directly to the Request Centre. To begin select "I Want to Make a Death Claim".

We aim to begin processing bereavement notifications within 10 working days. If you don’t hear from us within 10 working days, please email Platforms_deceasedaccounts@aberdeenplc.com or phone 0345 279 1001.
